The Writing tab controls post creation and content management settings.

| Set the number of revisions | ❌ Disabled (5) | Limits the number of revisions saved per post. Reduces database bloat. |
| Disable self-pings | ❌ Disabled | Prevents WordPress from sending pingbacks to your own site when linking to your own posts. |
Trash

|---|---|---|
| Auto-empty trash | ❌ Disabled (30 days) | Sets the number of days before trashed posts are permanently deleted. WordPress default is 30 days. Set to 0 to disable auto-emptying. |
