Installation

Download from WordPress.org

Visit wordpress.org/plugins/scotty and click Download, or search for “Scotty” in your WordPress admin under Plugins → Add New.

Activate the plugin

Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and click Activate next to Scotty.

Open Scotty

Navigate to the Scotty menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar. You’ll see the Overview dashboard with all your site’s health metrics.

Always back up your database before performing cleanup operations. Scotty’s delete operations are permanent and cannot be undone.

Manual Installation

Upload the entire content of the plugin archive to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
Done. Enjoy.

Updating

Scotty supports automatic updates through the WordPress plugin updater. You’ll receive update notifications in your admin dashboard when a new version is available.
